Our Philosophy
The Christian walk is a spirit-lead adventure that challenges each individual to seek out the truths of Scripture and the truths of the world. Our philosophy encompasses this adventure, so we therefore seek to publish, promote, and sell resources that motivate its buyers to think, speak and persuade.
Our Vision
We believe people need resources to fulfill the mandate to train the mind to think, the mouth to speak, and the strategy to persuade. The resources we publish is a ministerial method of discipling nations with the universal principles in the Word of God.
Our History
Monument Publishing was founded in 1995 by Chris Jeub, author of Jeub's Guide to Home School Speech & Debate and coauthor of many of the yearly sourcebooks published for the National Christian Forensics & Communication Association. Originally under the name Jeub's Debate Publications, Mr. Jeub sought to create study guides to assist academic debaters and speakers to successfully train in competition.
Training Minds Publications incorporated as a nonprofit organization in 2001 whose federal application was approved in 2005. Now operating as Training Minds Ministry 501(c)(3), the ministry runs debate camps nationwide and provides some of the best teaching for students participating in league.
Monument Publishing LLC is the publishing arm of Training Minds Ministry, but seeks to broaden its publishing efforts to include other like-minded teachers and coaches inside and outside the NCFCA. Chris Jeub owns Monument Publishing and operates its facility in Monument, Colorado.
Our Products
Monument Publishing resources like Blue Book and Jeub's Guide to Home School Speech & Debate are bestselling publications within the NCFCA community. Some of its resources like Strategic Debate have been utilized in other leagues like the National Forensics League. Mr. Jeub has also utilized his publishing company to produce a line of family discipleship products like Love in the House that he and his wife write.
