Biography
Over the course of five years of debate, Cody Herche was ranked nationally as a Top 20 speaker in the National Christian Forensics and Communications Association (NCFCA) for four consecutive years (2003-2006) and was the California State Champion in 2004. Cody won Nationals in Extemp in 2005 as well as 1st Place in Lincoln-Douglas debate. He was the Team Policy Debate Champion in 2006. Since then he has been an Assistant Coach with Envoy Speech and Debate in California where he helped coach the 2007 national title team.
An experienced researcher, Cody led the Envoy evidence ring every year he competed in Team Policy and has contributed to the Red Box sourcebook and Santa Clara Debate camp. Cody loves athletics, friends and competition and he spends a fair amount of time with all three, especially when they mix. He is currently a Sophomore at the University of the Pacific where he debates and studies economics.
