Biography

In the course of her career as a professional mother, Kim Anderson has home-schooled her three children; trained lobbyists for Concerned Women for America; coached her children and their friends in debate and speech all the way to national championships; directed musicales, children’s choirs and ancient Sumerian puppet shows; master-minded innovative home-school cooperatives; planted kitchen gardens using Roman surveying methods and 17th century knot-work planting designs; written music, debate, Bible and history curricula; read all the Great Books she missed in college; traveled the world in search of the ultimate mission trip; sorted out all and sundry skinned knees and bruised egos; followed the spiritual, psychological, intellectual and physiological development of three extraordinary children (her own) from birth to young adulthood; and regularly impersonated a future Martian colonist at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science — all with children in tow.

This has given her a — unique — perspective on life, the news and everything.

Kim is the author of Training Minds Ministries’ Lincoln-Douglas Debate, and is the Regional Coordinator for a twelve state area in the National Christian Forensics and Communications Association. She teaches journalism, speech and debate at Credo Academy (home school college-prep cooperative in Aurora, Colorado), and coaches for Peak Debaters and the International Debate Society. She is an educational consultant for private and home school efforts both local and international.
